My background is predominantly IT centric – I’ve worn many hats in the field but am currently a “software developer” – and I foresee this program as an enabler. The courses will allow me to bridge the gap from a strictly IT focus to the “hybrid” employer that can also talk the talk of the business world. Strategic planning, forecasting, building business cases, etc. are all areas of great interest (and, obviously, critical to successful businesses) and I feel the MISST courses thus far are strengthening these abilities.
