Something I was told as a child that still rings true today is “You’ll find time for the important things.” Priorities had to change, yet it was eye-opening how much I could get done in a day if I simply remained focused and utilized my time efficiently. For example, in an effort to give more time to my family during the evenings, I’ve made a conscious effort to do some of the “lighter” MISST work (reading / research) during my lunch hour in the office. Of course, I still have my fair share of lazy days as well!
